When I was a freshman in high school, in our English class there was a segment that taught us about jounalism. The main things about a news story should be the 5 w's. Who, What, When, Where and Why. You were to base your story on these componates and only fill in the story with facts.
Now they, the NEWS COMPANY'S have decided to be a throw back to the HIPPIE thinking and if it is liberal or in the Free Love retoric then no holds barred.
Now we suffer from sound byte mania. This is quite effective. Most usually it is attention getting and now that our lives are busy sound bytes are about all we can hold on to.
But with the news getting greased by liberality aplenty we have now a new set of rules. The news is now based on Create, speculate, manipulate, interject, immasculate.
They forget that most of the population keep their minds clear enough to be asstute enough to figger thangs out for theersefs. Yep the News thinks we all are weak minded.
